Library benchmarks

We tested mle_fit in many real data sets for consistency and compared the time and values obteined by the library with the powerlaw Python package.

Problems with powerlaw package

Impossibility to run the p-value bootstrapping test;
Higher computational time, especiamente para floats;
Condições estranhas para os dados, como aceitar somente candidatos que garantem um desvio padrão do expoente \(\alpha\) menor que 0.1, \(\hat{\sigma}\leq 0.1\);
Incapacidade de fitar outras distribuições, como a lei de potência com corte exponencial.
